Describe the shared responsibility model
- Understanding security and compliance concepts. Here we described the Shared Responsibility Model. Security and identity management is not the sole responsibility of any one service, solution, or individual. We work together on a Shared Responsibility Model. The Shared Responsibility Model is a security model that defines the responsibilities of both the cloud service provider and of the customer in securing the cloud environment. The cloud service provider is responsible for securing the infrastructure that supports the cloud, while the customer is responsible for securing the applications, data, and operating systems that run on the cloud. This model helps ensure that both parties are aware of their responsibilities and can take the necessary steps to secure the cloud environment. Shared responsibility means we all have our part and it's not fair to think that any one product, service, or individual can provide the solution on their own. We must work together.
