- Describe the authentication capabilities of Azure AD. Here we'll describe self-service password reset. Self-service password reset or SSPR is a feature of Azure Active Directory or Azure AD that allows users to reset their password without the need for administrator's help or help desk involvement. When a user forgets their password, their account is locked, they can follow the prompts to unlock themselves and get back to work. The following are the steps involved in the password reset process. A user can reset or change their password using the SSPR portal, but first they must have registered their desired authentication methods. When a user accesses the SSPR portal, the Azure platform considers the following factors. How should the page be localized? Is the user account valid? What organization does the user belong to, and where is the user's password managed? After the SSPR portal is displayed in the required language, the user is prompted to enter the user ID and pass a CAPTCHA.…
