Identity providers are third party services that can be used to authenticate users and provide access to cloud services. At Microsoft, Azure Active Directory or Azure AD supports a range of identity providers, including Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn. The Microsoft identity platform is an evolution of the Azure Active Directory or Azure AD identity service and developer platform.
