- [Instructor] Everyone wants to make sure that their data is secure and Dataverse allows us to make sure that data is secured. So first of all you've got to be an authenticated Azure Active Directory user to be able to access Dataverse, and then that user will be granted specific privileges to be able to do certain things. Some things that you can do to secure data with your Microsoft Dataverse is sharing your apps and records within a specified scope. You have security roles available that you can define specifically what users can do that can access certain records. They can perform certain actions. Maybe they can view this record but they can edit that record and so on. Assigning these roles to a user carries those privileges with it and their access.
