- [Instructor] As you might expect from a product that has a number of components, there are a lot of different features for security within Microsoft Fabric. You'll want to provide security rules for the data in the data lake as well as standard role-level security, and ensure that sensitive data has limited levels of access. In addition to data security, there are security rules within the workspace, which we'll cover in the next module. These different levels of security work together to provide users with the data and tools needed to provide the right level of application and data access. OneLake data relies heavily on Azure Active Directory, or as Microsoft has recently renamed it, Entra ID. This security is used to grant access to data.
