- [Instructor] Let's cover the rest of the objectives that fall under Human Resources These are the Personal Management capabilities. We'll start off with the Self-Service capability. Self-Service let's the employee update their own profiles, training, certification, and time off requests, just to name a few of the things that they can manage. Employees can get what they need when they need it. The Leave and Absence workspace allows the managers or human resources to create leave plans. Before you can create a leave plan, the employer must first set up Leave and Absence, and this requires a following three steps. HR or the employer needs to configure the Leave and Absence parameters. They need to create a working time calendar. And finally create a leave request workflow. Employees can also request time off.
