- [Instructor] Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management is one of the core apps that falls under Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. You will need to know Supply Chain Management, or SCM, for the exam, even if your company doesn't use this component. Supply Chain Management is part of Enterprise Resource Planning, or ERP. This is the process of managing a company's workflow. It includes finance, commerce, supply chain management and human resources. Supply chain management, specifically, is the workflow of a good or service from beginning to end. SCM offers four types of manufacturing processes. Those being: discrete manufacturing, lean manufacturing, process manufacturing, and unified, or mixed-mode manufacturing. Let's look into each of these manufacturing types in a little more detail.
