We saw how to connect resources within Azure using virtual networks, subnets, peering and service endpoints. We also learned how to enable access to those resources from the Internet using a public IP address or a public load balancer. Now, let's talk about how networking works in a hybrid Cloud deployment. The technical complexity of this configuration is higher than in the previous two scenarios. On the Cloud side of things, external network traffic enters into an Azure VNet. In between the on-premises environment and the Cloud, you have a virtual private network, also called a VPN. It is a secure tunnel that connects to environments with each other in simple words.
