- [Instructor] Welcome to Course 3 of the Managing Jira Cloud Project, series presented by Atlassian University. At Atlassian University, our mission is to help Atlassian users like you develop new skills, improve your team's work, and advance your professional career. In this series, we will be learning how to create, configure, and maintain projects in Jira Cloud, and how to partner effectively with Jira administrators. Now let's take a look at what you'll be learning in Course 3. In this course, you will get an overview of automation in Jira, including how to identify the elements of automation and how to configure automation. You will also learn how to gather requirements, run sprints, and use Jira for agile at scale. Finally, we will discuss how to create next-gen projects in Jira Cloud. In order to succeed with this course, you will need a basic understanding of Jira Cloud projects, boards, issues, issue types, and workflow. If you're new to Jira, we recommend starting with one of Atlassian University's Jira Essentials courses. The topics we will cover in this course are automation, other Jira features dashboards, and then putting it all together, which is a summary of all three courses in this series. The approximate time for each topic includes the lecture and demo. Get started with Jira Cloud in a few simple steps.
