- This course is designed for users of all levels. We're going to be using really high-end gear like motorized sliders, down to, simple things like a standard DSLR camera with a intervalometer. We'll even shoot some mirrorless cameras and show you how those could be used for time lapse. In fact, we're going to go all the way down to the process of using a smartphone. Now the cool thing is, is that you can make time-lapse with just about any device and we're going to explore just that. All I ask is that you take the time to get familiar with your camera. So if you've never fired, open your iPhone probably that's not the case. Make sure you get the camera, download a time-lapse app, and play with it a bit. Same thing holds true. Once we go through the gear that you need you're going to want to make sure you pick that up and read the individual instruction manuals. This is not a class where I'm going to teach you everything you need to know about your Nikon, your Olympus, your Panasonic, or your Cannon camera, but I will walk you through all of the essential features and how things are going to be used and it's a pretty straightforward process. So as long as you've got a basic familiarity with your camera, you're going to be just fine.
