From the course: CompTIA Security (SY0-701) Cert Prep: 2 Threats, Vulnerabilities, and Mitigations

Threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigations

- Organizations face an increasingly complex set of risks as they navigate the world of cybersecurity. From malicious attackers to vulnerabilities lurking in the hardware and software that we use every day, the digital environment is full of risks that cybersecurity professionals need to understand and defend against. Hi, I'm Mike Chapple, and I like to welcome you to our Security course on threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigations. Earning the Security certification requires passing an exam covering five domains of cybersecurity knowledge. This course covers the second of those domains, threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigations. That domain accounts for 22% of the questions on the Security exam, and this course is part of a series of six courses that will prepare you for the test. All right, let's get rolling.
