- Remember this is the PenTest exam prep. It's not a professional script writing exam. You don't have to know every nuance of every language. We're just providing you with enough information so that you'll be able to recognize what language a particular script segment comes from, because that's what you'll see on the exam. The questions you'll be asked are going to be very generic and very comparative to say, if you see this, what language did it likely come from? That's where most of the questions will be. And remember, in the larger context, why do we care about scripting in the first place? Because scripts allow us to utilize our pen testing tools more effectively.
