- In this lab, you're going to learn how to use the Nmap utility to discover what's all out there on a network. So the first thing you want to do is launch the Labtainers environment. Once you're in Labtainer, then you want to launch the Nmap Discovery Lab. So we'll type labtainer discovery. I'll use the same email address and as usual, I'll check the resources that are provided. And for this lab, there's only one resource, the lab manual. Right mouse click, Open Link. Once I have my lab manual open, I'm just going to go back to the main window, press Enter to start the lab. And there we go. So let's look at the lab instructions. Some labs focus on skills, others focus on process. This is really more of a focus on a combination of the two.
