- [Instructor] At some point, you're going to want to look at the system assets on your cloud computing network and identify any risks to those assets. This will allow you to assess the security approach that will be required. This means an inventory of applications, data stores, and anything else that may be connected to the cloud computing network. During the next step, we'll select a cloud provider that supports the security services we need. Remember that this includes compliance and core security services, such as standard encryption. Picking a cloud provider is multi-dimensional, meaning you'll have to consider other things such as cost, performance, additional services needed, et cetera. Also, this is usually not picking the best cloud, but in many instances is picking more than a single cloud provider or building a multi-cloud.
