DP-900 exam: Analytics workloads

- [Gregor Suttie] Welcome to the fourth and final section of the DP-900 Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals course, here on LinkedIn Learning. My name is Gregor Suttie and I am here to guide you through what you need to know for the first and last section of the DP-900 exam. For this part of the exam, we can see here, the learning objectives. And please note that this part of the exam is worth 25 to 30% of the total score available. We start off by looking at the common elements of a modern data warehouse, covering what exactly is a data warehouse and why might we need it? Then we look at Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks Azure HDInsight, and also Azure Data Factory. Then we'll talk about the consideration for real time analytics. We cover the differences between batch and streaming data and we also talk about Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Synapse Data Explorer, as well as Spark structured streaming. We then finish up by talking about data visualization within Power BI. We cover what we can do with Power BI and describe the features of data models. And then we look at the different visualizations available to use within Power BI. So we've got a lot to cover off. So please go grab a soft drink, get comfortable, and let's begin.
