- So once you have your bucket all set up and the properties that impact the objects in that bucket configured, you're ready to begin working with the objects themselves. So what we're going to do now is actually upload some files into our bucket and see how certain features work, like versioning, and the different properties that are available to us for those files, so that we can understand exactly what's going to happen when we start putting data into S3 buckets. Let's jump in and take a look. So the first thing you want to do, and you can see it in the nice graphical representation they give you when you're in an empty bucket, is begin uploading objects, or is it? Notice there's a button up here that says create folder. Now, I have said several times there aren't really folders in S3 buckets, and there aren't.
