Prototype form factors

- [Instructor] Your prototype can take different forms as it develops, from a simple bare board to a prototype that looks like a finished product. The most basic prototype is a single board. Most Arduino boards included an LED connected to pin number 13. Newer boards may include sensors and other components you can also use for prototyping. Breadboards are another way to build a prototype. They all work on the same principle and come in multiple sizes. Components and wires are connected to the breadboard to build your prototype circuit. When you're first getting things to work, it's easiest to use what I call flying jumper wires. These are wires that arch over the board as you build your circuit. Flying jumper wires are very quick but can get confusing, and the wires are notorious for being pulled out at inopportune times like on your way to a presentation.
