Generating new video from a video source
Let's take a look at using generative AI for creating new video from an existing video source. If you've ever added style effects to a video, like making an image look like a cartoon, or if it was painted from a specific artist, you're familiar with this idea. You're going to provide a Gen AI tool a video clip, and follow that with a text prompt, or choose from a pre-existing style from a supplied library, or give it an image reference. From this, it's going to create a brand-new video. We're going to look at two available applications that currently employ this technique. First up, we have Runway ML. Runway offers a free plan that you can try. Once you've signed up for an account, Runway will present you with a lot of options on the sidebar. Now for this, click on "Generate Video" and choose "Video-to-Video". If you have access to the exercise files, I have prepared video, you can upload in the folder, or you can upload your own video.
