- [Presenter] The Certified ScrumMaster certification is the oldest Scrum master certification and has been around since 2002. It is still the most popular Scrum certification and until 2009, it was the only Scrum certification program. Getting a Certified ScrumMaster requires you to take a two-day classroom course from scrumalliances.org certified training provider, which costs somewhere between 900 to $1500 US dollars. The content of these courses is very good, and you have to take an online test after the in-class training in order to get the CSM certification. Most people do not find the CSM test very challenging. At the time of recording this video, the CSM exam contains 35 questions and you need to get 24 or more right to pass the test.
