As the Service Center Manager you will lead and manage the Ruhrpumpen Houston Service Center. The Service Center manager will perform various functions at a high level of standard, those functions are listed but not limited to:
- Be a site leader to all departments and employees at the local level by mentoring, setting standards and driving accountability.
- Provide guidance for the development of repair strategies of equipment with a goal to meet or exceed customer requirements.
- Plan, develop and implement strategy for operational management to meet agreed Service Division performance plans within agreed budgets and timeframes.
- Be open and available for your team and apply best practices to develop a strong company culture.
- Maintain high level of standards in our Safety program and bring new ideas and awareness.
- Maintain high level of standards in quality assurance, quality control and tracking with KPI’s.
- Responsible for full profit and loss accountability by creating and maintaining budget and tracking against various KPI’s.
- Oversee all daily, monthly, and quarterly operational tasks and communicate with all stakeholders and departments in a professional manner.
- Improve revenue and profitability through detailed review of the business executional & operational needs.
- Ensure team meets or exceeds goals for KPI’s.
- Oversee all daily business operations and execution to achieve business goals.
- Responsible for all employee matters as it relates to onboarding or disciplinary actions.
- Be a team player with a strong aptitude for success and passion for growth.
- Ability to lead and manage a (2) shift service center operations with a strong understanding of proper scheduling and communication.
- This position travels up to 10% to 15% in Texas and Surrounding areas.
- Rotating Equipment (Centrifugal Pumps and Peripheral Equipment)10 years
- Maintenance of Machinery & equipment or manufacturing of heavy equipment. (Aftermarket experience a plus)10 years
- Proven leadership abilities.5 years
- Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
- Knowledge and experience of manufacturing processes involving welding, blasting, coating, machining, and assembly.
- Knowledge and functions of lathes, mills, and other machine shop tools.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly organized.
- Strong work ethic.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Programs.
- Proactive nature.
- Experience in planning and budgeting.
