Purpose of Role
The Procurement Analyst, Technology teammate is responsible for managing contract management, sourcing, and Indirect Procurement tasks supporting the Director, Technology Procurement.
This position will require exposure to Purchasing systems (SpendHQ, Ariba), data presentation skills (PowerPoint), a general understanding of contract redlining (MS Word), and familiarity with the sourcing / RFx process (Excel, Word, Outlook). The ideal teammate will have strong communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, strong presentation skills, interpersonal skills, cost take-out assessment skills, and some contract negotiation experience.
The teammate will manage the Non-Disclosure (NDA) process for the team, manage Statements of Work (SOW’s), and Change Orders (CO’s) to support the Technology Organization. The teammate will be responsible for scheduling meetings with Technology teammates, assisting or leading Sourcing Events (RFI, RFP, RFQ’s), assembling spend data purchasing documentation, and working independently with UA’s suppliers.
The candidate will work autonomously, handling a high volume of sourcing support, contracting requests, or project-based initiatives simultaneously, and will report to the Director of Technology Procurement.

Your Impact
- Contract research, redlining, and negotiation
- Working with internal partners (FP&A, Technology, Accounting) to ensure funding for contract requests
- Supporting Request for Anything (RFx) projects
- Assessing spend data verifying accuracy of supplier taxonomy
- No relocation provided
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
- 1-2 years relatable professional experience with general understanding of the procurement process (i.e., sourcing, contracting, purchase orders, invoice reconciliation, dispute management)
- Experience in contract redlining and contract negotiation
- Some exposure in strategic sourcing and RFx management
- Technology contracting and category management skills are preferred
- Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our global headquarters office at Baltimore, MD
- Return to Work Designation: Three (3) days a week in-office, the remainder of work week remote
- $61,142.00 - $84,069.70 USD
