The Impact You Will Make
Mental Health School Support (MHSS) provides a variety of professional direct care services to children and families with directions, support and training from the Residential Education team. MHSS participates in the creation and maintenance of a therapeutic milieu according to each child’s treatment plan and agency philosophy. The MHSS implements basic therapeutic interventions and develops relationships with the children under the guidance of Residential Education team and clinical directions of Residential Therapist. The role is responsible for providing quality care and treatment to children and response sensitivity and proactively to the individual treatment and educational needs of the children.

To Be Successful In This Role
- Skills and abilities are typically acquired through two years of related work experience.
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate or bachelor’s degree in social science or closely related field is preferred.
