Here are the important qualifications we are looking for:
- Analytic Innovator: Demonstrate a proven ability to develop new analytical projects that inform external stakeholders on fundamental research and policy domains. Your creative approach to problem-solving will contribute to impactful initiatives and drive positive change
- Proven Data Strategist: Showcase your strong data management skills, including the ability to query, manipulate, organize, and analyze different datasets. Proficiency in data tools and techniques (e.g., R, SAS, or SQL) will enable you to oversee the work of analysts and support unlocking key insights
- Logical Thinker: Exhibit the ability to synthesize and interpret complex information and concepts logically. Your analytical mindset will enable you to extract meaningful insights from data and communicate them effectively to different types of audiences
- Tech-Driven Professional: Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools (like Tableau or Power BI) will be an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is essential
- Educational Foundation: Possess a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public policy, public health, or a quantitative field, providing the necessary foundational skills for success in this role
- Specialized Expertise: Bring at least four years of professional experience, focusing on at least three years of demonstrated proficiency in working with health care claims or encounter data to address policy questions
- Effective Communication: Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly and persuasively. Engage stakeholders and foster collaboration through compelling communication
