ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


Business Partner Global Functions


Strategic Financial Leadership:


  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s global objectives.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to drive business performance and strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against key metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure proper and timely reporting on project status, milestones and corrective measurements.

Business Partnering:


  • Act as a financial advisor to business unit leaders, providing support on financial planning, performance management, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate investment opportunities, develop business cases, and assess financial viability.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to promote a culture of financial accountability and transparency.


Compliance and Transfer Price Coordination


Compliance


  • Ensure compliance with international financial regulations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks and safeguard company assets.
  • Monitor and manage financial risks across global operations, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.


Transfer Pricing and tax


  • Lead the Group Transfer Price reporting and ensure proper documentation. Support local TP efforts as needed. This includes ensuring that all necessary IC contracts are in place and available.
  • Oversee global tax structure for RiceTec.


Reporting and Planning


  • Overseeing the Group reporting and consolidation, as well as the Planning (1 year and 5 year plan) effort for RiceTec.
  • Coordinate consolidation effort between parent company and all RiceTec entities.
  • Lead the ESG reporting for RiceTec and coordinate with parent company


Process Improvement


  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Implement best practices in financial management, leveraging technology and innovative solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize financial reporting and analysis capabilities.
  • Drive process improvements in SAP
  • Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Finance. Demonstrated experience and success in leading financial planning and analysis, strategic business partner, and global operations
  • Affinity to work with ERP and reporting tools and the ability to continuously improve systems and processes.
  • Experience in strategic planning and business development.
  • Proven track record of success in a multinational organization, with experience managing complex financial projects across multiple regions.
  • Hands-on mentality to support Global projects in all business areas of RiceTec.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems (SAP preferred), financial modeling software, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization


EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA is highly desirable.


ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE

A working knowledge of production agriculture dynamics. A demonstrated understanding of grower value proposition for inputs and systems.

International Experience: Experience in working with diverse cultures and complex legal and business environments. Ability to coordinate efforts across business units and time zone.


Work Environment

Expected to perform the essential functions, responsibilities, and physical requirements of this role with or without reasonable accommodation within the described work environment.

Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. Work and training locations may include office and warehouse environments. May also include dry, muddy, or flooded fields, and other outside environmental situations including extreme heat/cold, rainy or sunny conditions.
