Field Support Technician

As Field Support Technician, you’ll travel to client sites to provide quick and courteous technical support to Rocket IT clients and their employees. You’ll troubleshoot operational issues, install/update required hardware and software, and recommend computer products or equipment to improve company productivity. The ideal Field Support Technician candidate is a strong communicator and problem solver.

As Field Support Technician, you’ll travel to client sites to provide quick and courteous technical support to Rocket IT clients and their employees. The ideal Field Support Technician candidate is a strong communicator and problem solver.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in person customer service to clients
- Resolve and document tickets in a timely manner
- Help people and organizations maximize IT uptime and performance
- Continuing education/certifications
- 4-year college degree (IT relevance preferred)
- 1-2 years IT support experience
- CompTIA A or Network Certification (current)
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and reach
- Must have visual acuity
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
