Our client, a global leader in steel belt conveyor manufacturing has a direct-hire opportunity for a Field Service Technician in Alpharetta, GA. While heavily focused on the metal industries, the Service Technician would be responsible for helping grow the service activities and parts sales throughout North America. To accomplish these goals, the Aftermarket Service Technician would be responsible for making periodic and scheduled visits to customers to check the performance of the installed equipment, support the customers via email and phone calls, identify any new business opportunities, and monitor the level of customer satisfaction regarding company products and services.
To be successful in this role, the individual must be capable of performing independently, able to think under pressure, be customer-focused, self-motivated, organized, enjoy problem-solving and not be afraid to get their hands dirty. The Service Technician may work alone or as a leader/consultant with a work crew of customer or contractor technicians.
