The eCommerce Manager is responsible for all aspects of Amazon and total marketplace management and will play a pivotal role in accelerating and sustaining growth. Ownership of the account management, promotional planning and execution and collaborating with internal and external partners to Inform the advertising strategy will be critical to growing the brand into a category leader. Maintaining a focus on the customer shopping experience and while ensuring quality fulfillment scores to ultimately influence performance, will require strong cross functional collaboration. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee, manage, and own the P&L for our Amazon Vendor Central and Marketplace accounts
  • Daily management including execution of promotions, proper pricing, and coupons; tracking and analyzing performance while making real-time optimizations
  • Lead the relationship with the brand's Amazon Vendor Manager including annual vendor negotiations and day-to-day communication.
  • Work closely with Head of Marketing to drive profitable growth for all assigned accounts
  • Own digital shelf, assortment additions, and merchandising (including special bundling and case packs) for all assigned accounts.
  • Track item rank and buy box on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure portfolio is continually improving and staving off competitors and third-party sellers
  • Audit competitor offering, content, pricing and stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to recommend and implement innovative strategies
  • Work closely with and advise the cross functional team
  • Ensure logistics and fulfillment targets are met
  • Provide necessary inputs to ensure the ad strategy supports the overall channel strategy, and that PPC keyword, conversion, and sales targets are met
  • Identify and help prioritize necessary content enhancements for product pages and brand page to meet retailer requirements while ensuring an excellent user experience
  • Responsible for hitting quarterly and annual sales goals


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4 years of experience in ecommerce and Amazon for a CPG brand
  • Must be fluent/expert in Amazon (ideally, Vendor Central) and retailer.coms
  • Proven performance growing Amazon business and successful track record with various tactics that drive growth on ecommerce platforms
  • Strong executor who is comfortable being entrepreneurial
  • A smart, hands-on thinker and doer that can build a big-picture strategy that lives up to the company vision, while being able to get into the trenches of excellent execution
  • Experienced in executing e-commerce strategies to drive digital sales and conversions on our website and external platforms (e.g. Amazon, among others), including day-to day performance optimization to achieve goals and improve user experience, creating website traffic, conversion and ultimately sales
  • Highly analytical and data-driven, able to zoom in on data, extract insights, iterate and adapt strategies and tactics to optimize growth
  • Relentless curiosity and critical thinking: able to adapt to a rapidly changing landscape, routinely seeking out ideas for new approaches within existing channels as well as new channels to test
  • A bootstrapped, thrifty mindset to spending and investing, where optimizing performance and maximizing returns are a constant filter for savvy budget management
  • Exceptional quantitative skills and orientation toward data-driven decision making
  • Aptitude for testing combined with demonstrated rigor around testing methodology, objective setting, and KPI tracking
  • Strong collaborative skills and experience collaborating with agency and/or in-house brand/creative teams
