They will be performing rack and stack on servers and network assets in a data center
The Tech will need to install and test fiber and copper cabling
They will also need to know how to terminate copper
They will need to reboot a device and have general familiarity with how servers work
Experience using a Fluke cable tester would be highly preferred
Work on ladders 7-8 feet off the floor
Install servers that can weigh up to 40-50 lbs. (will use a server lift and always work in teams)
They are occasionally asked to be on troubleshooting calls or speak to the client
Very fast pace and busy data center environment
Systems/Software proficiencies:
Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and teams)
