Job Description
The Client is hiring for an Junior Cost Accountant to assist the Cost Accountant in Lenexa MRO to provide finance support for the local MRO management team. This role is onsite in Lenexa, KS.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining and updating standard costs in the system
Monitors labor efficiency metrics and working closely with operations to drive improvements
Root cause analysis and corrective action on production variances
Ensure fidelity of warranty recharge processes
Collect, input, track and reconcile MRO manufacturing costs, labour, and other expenses
Analysing cost variances
Headcount forecasting and planning
Assists with capital expenditure and justification
Monthly Closeout processes to include general ledger balancing and reporting
Audit, track and monitor inventory cycle count program
Other related duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
Requires a University Degree and minimum 3 years prior relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Systems Knowledge - Microsoft Office skills to include Excel, JDE, SAP & HFM experience
Knowledge of Aerospace Industry
Good analytical skills & Problem Solver
Action Oriented - A flexible thinker and worker who is goal driven
