Summary:
Goldbelt Apex LLC is seeking a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist for the anticipated five-year contract supporting the Human Performance Optimization (HPO) mission to build and implement a holistic HP approach to address the increased stresses on operators and aircrew members. The goal is to increase the physical and mental capacity of the Special Operations operators and aircrew members over their careers, decreasing the rate of physical and mental injuries, and accelerating return to duty times. The program’s end state is to prepare, preserve, sustain, and ultimately multiply combat power.

Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Establish and administer effective strength and conditioning protocols, focusing on the full integration of human performance capabilities to maximize and enhance the duty performance and physical fitness of operators and aircrew.
- Coordinate individualized exercise programs with the organization to ensure a safe and expeditious return to training for individuals recovering from injury.
- Perform routine performance testing, including Occupational Specific Physical Fitness Assessments (OSPFA) or testing required for specialized training programs or schools.
- Provide a Human Performance Measures of Effectiveness (MOE) trending metric report that includes training availability, recommendation status, utilizations, evaluations, access to care, and performance pillars.
- Provide all injury prevention, strength, and conditioning services necessary to accomplish the mission and associated tasks as required.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of strength and conditioning principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in using strength and conditioning software and technology.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Master’s degree or higher in Human Performance, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field.
- National Strength and Conditioning (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCCa) and Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC).
- Current (CPR) and (AED) trained.
- Minimum 5 years of full-time experience as a Strength & Conditioning Specialist in collegiate (or higher), professional, or tactical athletics; aerospace industry, test pilot/astronaut or similar man-machine high-performance environment.
- Must be a US Citizen.
