Analyst, Client Reporting (Full Time) - Hybrid

Position Summary

Responsible for the production of timely and accurate Client Reports/presentations for Asset Management clients and consultants. Compiles reports and documents from several different sources, including commentary from the managers, which is proofread and analyzed for accuracy between the various sources. Consults with portfolio managers, portfolio assistants, and accountants to identify the required financial data, to determine the most effective report format and to develop and maintain the Client Reports and analytical data associated with those reports.

This position requires a strong command of Excel and PowerPoint, as well as proven skills in grammar, proofreading and editing, in addition to an excellent eye for detail and accuracy. The ideal candidate will be independent and be able to manage several tasks simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment. In addition, this position requires excellent communication skills to collaborate with peers and senior management.

In addition, the position will require flexibility in job tasking as we move to a different reporting platform while continuing to produce current reporting at the same elevated level of accuracy and quality. This transition will require research, new procedure development, implementation, and extensive quality testing as well as conceptual discussions to ensure a smooth conversion over the next few years.

Requirements

  • Must have minimum three (3) years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance or Business Management, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills strongly desired (VLOOKUP/Formulas/linking/macros)
  • I ntermediate PowerPoint skills strongly desired
  • Proven ability to proofread and to utilize proper grammar
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented and accuracy-conscientious
  • Independently complete research and work within strict deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization

Preferred

  • Experience in Asset management or Insurance industry preferred
