What You Will Do

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
- Broad understanding of programming and hardware
What You Will Do
- Develop hardware, software, and user interface for custom factory test stations, which may include C/C /C#, LabVIEW, QT, and Python.
- Design, program, and troubleshoot factory automation systems using PLCs, HMI, and robotic cells.
- Generate schematics and drawings for control systems.
- Perform pneumatic assembly and electrical wiring.
- Oversees equipment builds, qualifications, and implementations.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers at all manufacturing sites.
- Investigate new technologies for manufacturing process needs.
- DFMA analysis of both new and existing products
- Provide technical advice and support for AME and R&D Engineering.
- Assist in troubleshooting existing production equipment.
- Other assignments as deemed appropriate by the supervisor or manager.
- Occasional travel required as needed to support project deployment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Controls Engineering, or other related field
- 1-3 years of professional experience in a similar role required. 3 years of professional experience preferred.
- Experience with standard programming languages like C/C /C#, Python, etc.
- Experience creating GUI apps using LabVIEW or QT.
- PLC, and HMI programming and diagnostics experience.
- Strong leadership skills working in a collaborative environment.
- Proven Project Management experience.
- Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Experience assisting with NPIs.
- 2D AutoCAD and schematic creation.
- Powered holding and test equipment design experience.
- Experience with robotic and automated cells, preferred.
- Experience with 3D CAD software, Creo preferred.
- Capital equipment procurement experience, preferred.
