How can you negotiate a lower insurance rate?
Be sure to carefully read your quote and policy review. You may find that there is an error or misunderstanding. There may also be something where you can provide more clarification. For example, if it's a health condition that's creating a higher premium, there may be new information that puts you in a more positive light. Or there's just a mistake in the information provided to the company. The more you understand the quote/policy review, the more confident you will be in requesting a reconsideration. Be sure to check with other companies as they will all have differing underwriting criteria and rate structures which will impact your premium. The companies use to assess their risk tolerance, it's nothing personal.

How can writing skills help you communicate effectively in a hybrid work environment?
In any environment, it's a great idea to consider how you can keep your writing clear and easy to understand. Consider using short sentences and paragraphs. Keep it as brief as possible. Think about how you would explain the concept in a conversation with a friend. This will help you highlight any jargon that will either need to be simplified or explained. A key rule is to write so that the person who is reading it would be able to easily explain it to someone else. Consider using brief examples to help explain a complex topic. Frame any jargon or acronym with a a quick explanation.

How can you show your insurance clients that you value them?
You can strengthen your client relationships by having better conversations with them. When you communicate with your clients, share how their insurance coverage fits in with the rest of their financial life. Listen to what your clients goals are and then make sure that their coverage is meeting their goals and is relevant for them. Be sure to educate your clients on how their insurance works. Clients oftentimes don't really understand how an insurance policy works. This leads to misunderstandings which can create further issues and eventually a lost client. Come from a place of service. Use a financial calendar like The Get Ready Blueprint to share ideas on how they can organize and monitor all areas of their financial life.
