How can you effectively communicate with customers through digital channels during a crisis?
- Always start by addressing the issue at-hand; rip off the metaphorical Band-Aid and get it out of the way as a first matter of business - Move on quickly to outline a very clear path forward and the steps you intend to take to get there -- it is OK for things to take some time to implement; customers are less focused on the *timing* of your plan but more so your commitment to putting things into action - Lastly, overcommunicate - when a crisis occurs, the more communicative you are around the happenings and the progress you're making to fix the issue, the more at ease the customer will be in your ability to get it done; silence, in these scenarios, is not key.
