Elizabeth ARROYO, from the Pontificia Universidad Cat��lica del Ecuador, invited me to her TV program, along with Lucía Lasaga and Manuel Castro Parrón. We talked about innovation and entrepreneurship in accessibility, what I call “user interface of the world with people”. The smartphone forced to rethink all interfaces. Not just the mobile ones, but all of them. That improved the way information is displayed for all screens, not just mobile. What made this possible? Constraints: if you add constraints to a problem (requirements to be met to solve it), any valid solution has to overcome the constraint and deliver the same result. If we lower the friction of “using the world”, physical and digital, by accepting the constraint that everyone can use it, we will create a more powerful solution than the current one. 🔥 We will create more value. To all innovators and entrepreneurs in “user interface the world with people”, what you call accessibility, I propose this challenge: How do I create a business model that achieves the following: 💎 Generates more value for the customer (who buys from you, many times a company) 💎 Generates more value for the user (customer segments with special needs, which I propose you extend to all customers in general) Do this and you will have completely transformed your project because: ⭐ You will no longer be appealing to solidarity accounted for as an expenditure ⭐ You'll have a business value proposition with an investment and a profit for your clients Let's rethink from scratch the whole business model, from the value proposition to the customer segments and the Go-to-Market and let's get that win-win.  Thanks to Lucia, Manuel and Elizabeth for their insights.
