If you have time-sensitive news to share, you should still send it to national press. But double-check that you have an amazing subject line. Subject line best practices include: 1. Add value to the media gatekeeper - why should they open YOUR e-mail instead of the other 400 they'll get today? 2. Be succinct. 8 words or less. 3. Accuracy matters.
