  • CNSNext Rebranding Initiative

    -

In 2019, I led a team on a total rebrand project for CNS. This included a name change, new logo, new website, and new product launches. The rebrand also consisted of training sessions for staff, new collateral, new uniforms and cars, etc. I took the role as main point person on this project, contributing ideas, seeing the rebranding through, and training staff.

  • AMA Omaha Pinnacle Award

The Pinnacle Awards are an opportunity for local organizations to showcase their most successful marketing campaigns from the previous year. Awards are judged based on metrics and measurable tactics—results-based, not creative-based. I won the Pinnacle Award in the student division for work on how food decisions impact travel and tourism decisions.

  • Muscular Dystrophy Association: "Top Jailbird"

Each year the Muscular Dystrophy Association hosts a "Lock Up" fundraiser in which participants "raise bail" for a good cause. When you go behind bars and raise bail, you make it possible for MDA to continue funding groundbreaking research across diseases to find treatments and cures, support kids and adults from day one and empower families with services and support in your community and hometowns across America. According to the fundraiser's website, I was the #2 ranked "Top Jail Bird"…

  • Employee Most Innovative Award

    City of Thomasville

The EMI award program is designed to encourage creativity and innovation among employees by offering recognition for innovative thinking that benefits the organization and the community. I submitted a proposal for lunch-hour continued education technology courses for City of Thomasville employees. Creating an environment of learning for employees would help foster a sense of creativity while making it possible to keep more work in-house.

  • American Booksellers Recognition

    American Booksellers Association

I was recognized for the creation of the first ever Independent's Week event in Thomasville. This event promoted local businesses by educating the public about spending local, premiering films and music that are independent from large chains, and hosting discussions about the importance of community and a book store's place within it. This event was made possible through extensive cooperation with local business owners and the ABA.

This was a passion project that turned into a great community event. The Bookshelf provided their upstairs space for these monthly TEDx lectures, with topics ranging from the food we eat to international politics. I would choose topics and videos that looked interesting and relevant to our community, the people in it, and what was going on in the world at the moment, then screen the TEDx videos and organize local experts to speak in person on the topics.
