I've used it a couple of times, and it's very cost effective. As an example, when a client wanted to create a secure portal to enable CROs and sites to access reports and analyses, we "outsourced" the design and implementation of the security and networking pieces to a vendor on AWS IQ. That allowed me to focus entirely on the analytics and visual reporting aspects of the project.
