  • Cross Cultural Experiential Learning Evaluation Project

    Co-PI for Tier three IITG, for $45,000. Worked with co-principal investigators from the SUNY Levin Institute, SUNY Purchase, SUNY Old Westbury, SUNY Ulster, SUNY Cobleskill and SUNY Empire State College. The goal of the grant was to investigate the use of AACU rubrics and e-portfolios as a way to improve the development and assessment of meaningful international learning experiences. The outcome was a cross cultural evaluation toolkit.

  • Virtual Term Abroad: Student Engagement & International Interaction Using Meeting and Mobile Tools

    Co-PI for Tier two, $20,000 SUNY Innovative Instructional Technology grant (IITG), to research the use of virtual meeting tools and mobile technology as a way to create a virtual term abroad. Used the Value Creation Framework (Wenger, Trayner & de Latt, 2011) to assess the value of synchronous cross cultural collaborations for students and faculty.
