The recipient is selected from the highest performing nominees worldwide.
The Don Cope Memorial Award is not a tenure award, but all its recipients have all had at least 10 years of service. The Don Cope Memorial award is not a performance award but its recipients have all been outstanding Chairs who provide outstanding value to their members and communities and have outstanding group sizes and retention records. The Don Cope Memorial Award encompasses all of these things but most of all, this award recognizes the Vistage Chairs that are truly committed
to the Vistage mission and have demonstrated that in not only serving their members well, but also in helping their fellow Chairs and the whole Vistage organization. All of this done in a positive, upbeat, and caring manner.
