My work with GIIH is to serve as an advisor on implementation and growth of the new GIIH physical and online center, particularly as regards best-in-class practices to support entrepreneurs in the sustainable energy development sector.

  • Global Smartphone Purchase Drivers and Needs-Gap Analysis

    Covers key functions/features by device and OS that drive smartphone purchase. Further shows performance of individual features relative to expectations of performance (Needs-Gap Analysis). Project demonstrates clear areas of needed improvements/innovation while providing results for all major brands/OS's in terms of competitive strengths and weaknesses.

  • Tablet, PC, & Smartphone Usage and Purchase Cannibalization

    Covered the rates at which tablets, smartphones, and PCs cannibalize each other in terms of not only sales, but usage as well. Detailed analysis and methodology shows overall reduction in PC usage with the rise of tablets as well as % of purchase cannibalization for all major compute devices across 25 markets, representing 80% of the worldwide market.

  • US Mobile Carriers - Customer-based Competitive Analysis

    Detailed analysis of how consumer's view their mobile carriers in the US. Coverage of KPI (Key Performance Indicators) including various satisfaction metrics - satisfaction with plan choices, satisfaction with customer service, satisfaction with coverage area, etc. Details results specific to T-Mobile, Verizon, ATT, Sprint, etc.

    Global market segmentation of consumer electronics purchasers. Study cover 50,000 respondents in 25 countries. Coverage includes over 3,000 brands, 400 ISPs, 500 mobile carriers worldwide. Developed proprietary market segmentation technology resulting in 90% predictive accuracy, which compares very favorably to the industry average. Study has been running for 4 years now.

Currently SF Bay Area's largest not for profit LGBT outdoor adventure sports organization.
