What are the key steps to strategic thinking for identifying new business opportunities?
Critical here is to avoid bias - is your idea/product really good enough to drive market penetration? Understand the 'path to purchase' here - not just what competitor products your potential customers are using but how they got there. Is there strong brand equity/affinity you'll have trouble fighting against? There is ALWAYS a competitor - even for supposed new market entrants in blue ocean environments. What differentiates you vs. your competitor products?

You’re a project manager looking to motivate your team. How can you use Emotional Intelligence to do it?
I tryto find project based 'stretch' activities - job functionalities that push top performing employees to grow in areas they enjoy. This fosters a spirit of joint success and will demonstrate far better than words that you care about your team members' success.
