    Chicago, Illinois – June 14, 2012 – The U.S. Small Business Administration today named Michelle Hayward, President of Bluedog, as the Illinois State Business Person Business of the Year. The SBA evaluates nominees based on criteria such as innovate products and services, business staying power, growth in employees, financial performance, and contributions to the community.

    “We’ve built a smart team of creative and analytic people who help our clients take their brands to the next level,” said Michelle Hayward, in accepting the award. “The team should be really proud of this honor.”
    “We nominated Bluedog for this award because of their innovative approach and their solid business acumen,” said Greg Simmons, Vice President at PNC Bank.

    “Our Illinois winner represents the best in their field. They continue to set an excellent example of hard work and dedication,” said Judith Roussel, SBA District Director.

    Bluedog is headquartered in Chicago and has teams in Minneapolis, St. Louis, Atlanta and Los Angeles. Its Good Dog Foundation supports the good works of catalysts in their clients’ and their employees’ communities.
