His expertise in Azure solutioning and Security is fantastic but, where he really excels at is his customer engagement and ability to help guide his clients through complex cloud initiatives. As a non-profit during the COVID epidemic, ACS had an urgent need to reduce capital expenses and be more agile and scalable with delivery. We set an aggressive goal of exiting a ~5000 sq ft data center with ~900 virtual/physical servers and over 100 core applications and products in less than 3 months. Mark did a very good job of understanding our goals, helped connect ACS with a very experienced migration partner, and most impressively he went above and beyond by pursuing multiple channels through Microsoft funding to reduce our migration costs. He also provided well informed guidance throughout the project and made sure to connect us with the right resources as needed. We ended up completing a very complex Azure migration in 9 weeks where it can normally take multiple years. We have significant cost reductions and with a purely cloud footprint, ACS is enabled to transform, differentiate and gain a competitive advantage.
