Everything DiSC is a great tool, it alone will not solve your team issues. DiSC is not for every leadership situation. It is a powerful tool to understand yourself and others. Team building requires more. It requires having a common goal, ensuring all members understand their part, it requires listening, leadership, and so much more.

We use the COINS Model in our Courageous Feedback training programs and executive coaching. Adding the "S" at the end is the SUPPORT component. SUPPORT is designed to give space for answering and asking additional questions and developing a support model for learning, growth, and future impact.

In many situations, I suggest both mentoring and coaching. For either or both to work the receiver needs to be open, to listen, and to have the courage to move forward. Listening to what is said, how it is said, getting curious about what is said, and then taking appropriate action is a powerful learning and growth combination.

OKR, KPI, SMART Goals, etc are valuable; they are simply measurement tools - these are management tools that positional leaders use. As this is a Leadership page, leadership of these measurement tools and the relating factors take clarity, loads of meaningful communication, trust, and engagement. People must connect and understand these metrics and how they relate to both their success and the success of the organization for goals achievement.

I agree with so many comments from experts. I will add that sometimes you need to go outside to get conflict support. There are many reasons to need an outsider, it is not defeat. It is actually smart. A great Conflict Resolution expert can help you gain clarity and move forward quicker. Seeing support is seldom a bad thing.
