“I worked with Gary on the Santos GLNG Upstream project for the delivery of the HV and LV switchrooms as well as the major electrical equipment. During this time I was the responsible engineer for these packages. This significant project involved the delivery of 20 major switchrooms, 200 LV rooms, power/distribution transformers, protection/secondary systems and power factor correction equipment. The delivery schedule and logistics were challenging, with equipment being manufactured around the world and delivered to a remote site in central Queensland, Australia. Gary put the client and project needs front and centre and led his team from the front. The result was excellent on all fronts with the electrical systems being commissioned on time and budget, exceeding our expectations.”
