What do you do if your career setback becomes a chance for growth?
If you encounter a setback, always assume that it comes hand in hand with an opportunity for growth, personally and professionally. Discomfort and growth often appear before us hand in hand — but we lean away because we don't recognize the opportunity for the former, and we don't want to be discomfited by the latter. But no matter what the subject matter, if you want to be better, do better, and aid others in the same, discomfort is something you must acclimate yourself to in pursuit of growth. Discomfort can be part of the learning process, but therein lies opportunity. Opportunities lead to development, and development equals growth.
