The method includes receiving, at a first computing device, a message from a first user associated with a first language, in which content of the message is in the first language. The method further includes receiving the message and an indication of the second language from the second computing device as well as transmitting the message to a translation server to be translated to the second language. Furthermore, the method includes receiving a translated message from the translation server and transmitting the translated message to the second computing device of the second user.

On the 21 Hats Podcast, I don't usually talk to Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, but Sharon Gillenwater is a very unusual entrepreneur who just happens to be based in San Francisco. How is she unusual? Well, for one thing, she bootstrapped her most recent business, which is not exactly standard practice in Silicon Valley. That meant that she didn't have to worry about VCs running the business into the ground, which is what happened with her previous business. For another, after Sharon sold the business for $25 million, she decided to share all of the numbers, right down to what she actually took home. In so doing, she learned this surprising lesson: as the founder of a relatively small bootstrapped business, she walked away with more money than the founders of some venture-backed businesses that sold for far more. “I wonder who's crying now?” 🎤 “Who’s Crying Now” by Journey Every year at Pulse, I finish my keynote with a moment of vulnerability. Channeling the great Brene Brown (or in honor of the 80s, Bob Ross!), I remind myself that being your raw self is a true superpower. 🦸🏾 I also do this to encourage the Pulse community to drop their guard around each other and get real. Let’s be honest: not everyone is “crushing it” right now! I shared a story (video below) about a trip to the Grand Canyon and a mishap that led me through pain and to pride. We live in an incredibly exciting and scary time right now, as AI becomes more of a reality. But in the spirit of what we call Human-First AI, we can channel those emotions into something to carry us up climb, so to speak. ⛰ As you learn about Generative AI, what “feels” does it bring up for you?
