Legacy Publishers
detailed the history of the California Nurses Association as they organized politically and successfully enacted safe staffing ratios at the State level.
It was really a book about political empowerment in a complex political society.
Not much appreciated in nursing given the subject matter of a union, and thus the political empowerment lessons are lost to a profession that desperately needs to understand them.Other authors -
