In CSS, you can use various units for sizing, such as px, rem, em, and even inches or feet. Most of us commonly use px or pixels. While it's a familiar choice, there’s a downside to using pixels. Imagine you’re developing a site on your laptop or desktop screen. It looks fine there, but when you open the same site on a larger screen, a higher resolution, or a browser with a different font size setting, the layout might break, and elements might not look as intended. To avoid this issue, it’s better to steer clear of using px for responsive design. Instead, using em or rem is a smarter choice. Personally, I prefer rem, and I've noticed that popular CSS libraries like Tailwind CSS and Bootstrap also use rem. Rem is different from px. While px depends on your screen resolution, making the site look different on various screens, rem is based on the browser's font size. Typically, 1 rem equals 16 px, but if your browser's font size is set to 22 px, then 1 rem equals 22 px, and your site will adjust accordingly. Single-Threaded Natively, "JavaScript is single-threaded and all the JavaScript code executes in a single thread. This includes your program source code and third-party libraries that you include in your program. When a program makes an I/O operation to read a file or a network request, this blocks the main thread". To reach the goal of simultaneous activities anyway, browsers, service workers, libraries, and servers offer additional appropriate interfaces. Their primary use case is the unblocking execution of HTTP and database requests; a smaller proportion focuses on CPU-intensive computations. At the level of the JavaScript language, there are three techniques to achieve asynchronism - what 'feels' like simultaneity. Callback function Promise Keywords async and await The basic technique is the use of callback functions. This term is used for functions that are passed as an argument to another function, especially - but not only - for functions that implement an asynchronous behavior. A Promise represents the final completion or failure of an asynchronous operation, including its result. It steers further processing after the end of such asynchronous running operations. Because the evaluation of Promises with .then and .catch may lead to hard-to-read code - especially if they are nested -, JavaScript offers the keywords async and await. Their usage generates wellarranged code comparable with try .. catch .. finally of traditional JavaScript. But they don't implement additional features. By using array destructuring, we assign the values to firstColor, secondColor, and thirdColor respectively. Example 2: Object Destructuring 🧩 Object destructuring enables you to unpack properties from an object into distinct variables. const person = {  name: 'Alice',  age: 25,  country: 'USA' }; const { name, age, country } = person; console.log(name); // Output: Alice console.log(age); // Output: 25 console.log(country); // Output: USA Here, we extract the properties name, age, and country from the person object and assign them to variables with the same names. Pros and Cons of Destructuring ⚖️ Pros: 1. Conciseness: Destructuring allows you to write less code, making your scripts more concise and readable. ✍️ 2. Clarity: It enhances code clarity by clearly showing which variables are being assigned from which parts of an object or array. 🔍 3. Convenience: Easily extract multiple properties or elements in one line, reducing the need for multiple variable declarations. 🎯 Cons: 1. Complexity in Nested Structures: While powerful, nested destructuring can become hard to read and understand, potentially leading to maintenance challenges. 🌀 2. Overhead in Simple Cases: For very simple extractions, destructuring might introduce unnecessary complexity. 🧩 3. Error Handling: Improper destructuring can lead to errors if the structure of the data changes or if the expected properties or elements are not present. ⚠️ Destructuring in JavaScript is a powerful tool that, when used wisely, can greatly enhance the readability and maintainability of your code. 🔴Everyday Learning: Keeping JavaScript Objects in Check✔️. Today’s JavaScript lesson is all about keeping our objects from changing when we don’t want them to. I learned two cool methods:  Object.seal() and Object.freeze(). 🔒 Object.seal() Imagine telling your object, “No more changes!” That’s what Object.seal() does. It stops you from adding or removing properties, but if you need to update values, go right ahead! // Sealing an object :- const project = { name: 'WebApp', stage: 'Development' }; // Seal the project object Object.seal(project); // Updating existing properties project.stage = 'Testing'; // This is allowed // Deleting an existing property delete project.name; // This is not allowed // Adding a new property project.teamsize = 5; // This is not allowed, the property will not be added     🧊 Object.freeze() Now, if you want to make sure nothing changes at all, Object.freeze() is like a super glue. Once you freeze an object, everything stays exactly as it is—no additions, deletions, or updates. Most asked Javascript Interview question ... _Q:_ Is JavaScript an interpreted or compiled language? _A:_ JavaScript is an interpreted language that uses Just-In-Time (JIT) compilation at runtime. While it shares some characteristics with compiled languages, it doesn't fit the traditional definition. JavaScript code is executed line by line by an interpreter, with errors thrown at runtime. _Q:_ Why isn't JavaScript considered a compiled language, even with JIT compilation? _A:_ There are a few reasons: 1. *No ahead-of-time compilation*: JavaScript code isn't compiled into machine code before it's executed. Instead, the JIT compiler translates the code into machine code on the fly. 2. *Dynamic compilation*: The compiled code is not stored anywhere and is recompiled as needed. 3. *Interpreter-based execution*: JavaScript code is still executed by an interpreter, even with JIT compilation. This means errors are thrown at runtime, not compile time.
