Existing arterial intersection converted to 5 lighted intersections incorporating indirect lefts and at grade ramps. Numerous value engineered aspects incorporated into project.

Roadway widening and associated intersection and drainage improvements. Highly trafficked area with numerous existing business consideration including new Walmart entrances and delivery vehicle route changes.

New roadway alignment and associated drainage and utility changes. Shifted entire U.S. Route 180/South Entrance road prism up to ¼ mile while under extreme traffic conditions during height of tourist season, coordinating between Federal Highway Administration and National Parks agencies.

Sidewalk and ramps integrated into historic neighborhood where none existed previously, bringing the area into ADA compliance. Numerous neighborhood and utility considerations

Intersection improvements requiring Salt River Project and Roosevelt Irrigation District open canal systems to be moved up to 20 feet below new roadway. Archeological considerations encountered. Multi-jurisdictional project requiring coordination between the City of Phoenix, City of Tolleson, Maricopa County, SRP and RID.
